As April comes to a close, events here in Tuscaloosa are slowly starting to pick back up. This weekend is going to be one for the books because we have a boatload of fun for all ages in-store. Thursday concerts on The Rooftop

Christian Hayes will be performing this Thursday at Hotel Indigo’s The Rooftop. Enjoy the free concert and happy hour from 5-7 with $2 domestics, $4 wells, and $5 house wines. They are smoke-free & remember – pet-friendly! Now you don’t have to leave your furry friend at home on your night out! Live music is making a comeback and you don’t want to miss this!

 

Graduation

Congrats to all of the Spring 2021 graduates of The University of Alabama! This is no easy accomplishment, so enjoy every moment as you walk across that stage to receive your diploma this weekend. Don’t forget to stop by the Supe Store afterward for alumni gear so you can continue to represent the Crimson Tide! Return to the capstone every now and then, because it will always be your home. 

 

Tuscaloosa Farmers Market

Get your weekend fix of artisan bread, farm-fresh vegetables, and fabulous finds from your local small business owners at this weekend’s farmers market. The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market takes place this Saturday, May 1, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your vehicle but want to still indulge in uniquely local goods? Curbside delivery is also an option! Remember, you can’t buy happiness but you can buy local!

 

CHOM

Join the Children Hands-on Museum for a Superhero Meet and Greet! Hurry down to CHOM to get autographs, pose for pictures and receive a superhero goody bag! Costumes are welcome! Pre-Registration is required. $15 per person. This is a safe socially distant event with visitor limits to ensure everyone’s safety.

 

Live Concert Series

Don’t miss the Alabama Blues Project’s 2021 Live Concert Series at Shindig Family Entertainment Center on May 1st, September 4th, and December 11th at 7 pm! General admission is FREE! *Please wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. In addition to live music, you also have bowling, axe throwing,mini-golfing, and an arcade all within reach! This activity would be great for the kiddos as well!
