First Friday Art Walk

First Friday is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a peaceful downtown stroll before things get too cold! There is an incredible lineup of featured artists spread out around town this Friday. Free and open to everyone, this event celebrates our thriving art scene with a great focus on staying local for a fun night out. Alabama Volleyball vs. Ole Miss

The University of Alabama’s Volleyball team will be taking on Ole Miss in a classic SEC matchup. at 11-9, the Crimson Tide will be looking to win against a reeling Ole Miss at 14-6, but have lost their last 3. Alabama will lean on their stat leaders Doris Carter and Emily Janek to pull them through the tough matchup and will need help from the home crowd! Don’t miss this opportunity to watch them compete in the historic Foster Auditorium this Sunday.

The Garden Party

The 8th Annual Schoolyard Roots Garden Party is this Sunday at the Tuscaloosa River Market. Join in on the fun with Tuscaloosa’s premier seasonal, local, farm-to-table tasting. Local farmers and restaurants will join together to help bring the mission of Schoolyard Roots to life at the Tuscaloosa River Market from 5:30 to 8 pm.

Enjoy live music by Chuck King & the Swing Kings, bid on fantastic silent auction items, and place your vote for which of our restaurant partners receives the Golden Carrot Award! It’s one amazing feast – for one great cause.
